self-illuminated prop for Poser 9 / Poser Pro 2012

Load torch into scene. Create a point light and position it at X=0, Y=0.750, Z=0.215 Intensity 16%, Shadow strength 0.670, attenuation: inverse square, color yellow-orange with modest saturation. Parent the light to the torch. The torch's origin is at the socket at the bottom of the shaft. If your scene uses several torches, use included mt5/mc6 files to give each additional torch a unique texture.

Render using IDL and displacement (min bounds=1) I use Poser Native Units; if you use a different scale, adjust displacement of the flame in the material room.

Free for both private and commercial renders; do not redistribute, except for use by a 3D printing service, who may not themselves redistribute mesh or textures, or derivatives thereof, other than the physical printed model.

The geometry meshes are stripped from the prop files and are located in runtime/geometries/seachnasaigh/torch. This enables you to make your own re-textured versions of the torch and to distribute your new prop files (both free and commercial are welcome), or you can use the OBJs in some other 3D rendering studio.

If you want animated textures (flickering flames), check back or contact me, as I will probably make seamlessly looped animated flame texture and displacement files.
